Come explore and define your style in clay with this 8-week wheel class. In this class students will learn techniques for throwing more complicated forms on the potter’s wheel as well as how to focus on forms they enjoy making. Specific demonstrations to help students define personal styles will be shown. Classes will explore surface decoration, glaze application and slip techniques that showcase your voice in clay. Beginning experience throwing on the pottery wheel required. Included in the cost is everything you need while you are in class: basic pottery tools, buckets, clay and glazes, firing, discounted open studio opportunities.
