Open to all levels of experience working in clay! This 8-week course explores how to make functional objects in clay. Students will learn handbuilding techniques best catered to functional wares and methods for refining and finishing their pots. Demonstrations will include cups, plates, bowls, etc as well as decorative techniques like underglaze painting, slip trailing, glazing and more. Included in the cost is everything you need while you are in class: basic pottery tools, clay, firing, glazes, and discounted open studio opportunities.
This class is great for kids, great for adults, great for the whole family!
