Come advance your clay techniques in this 8-week course. Classes will focus on composite forms on and off the potter’s wheel. Throwing demonstrations will include forms like teapots, goblets and vases and handbuilding demonstrations will show how to use a slab on the wheel to make plates and much more. This class is great for those looking to learn more about clay and take a break from the normal cups and bowls on the wheel. Beginning experience throwing on the pottery wheel required. Included in the cost is everything you need while you are in class: basic pottery tools, buckets, clay and glazes, firing, discounted open studio opportunities.
