Hi, I’m Heather! I just moved to Colorado and I’m loving the mountians!
I’m an educator, clay artist and designer that believes in supporting artists and fellow educators by sharing knowledge and resources! I am passionate about creative outlets and love to hear about new methods and mediums to explore. I will be back teaching in-person clay classes soon in my local Colorado community!
It is my belief that through enthusiasm for the arts and dedication to my student’s artistic growth, my art classes can positively influence their lives. My formal education is in art education and fine arts and it has provided a foundation for the additional knowledge I have gained through teaching and practice.

Handmade clay pots personalized to commemorate loved ones that have passed. These pots are designed with imagery to represent moments not to be forgotten and celebrate those that impact our lives even when not present. Creating these vessels is a labor of love and one of my favorite things to do.
Resources for Learning
The journey of an educator is not an easy one. Support, guidance, continued education and community are paramount for an educator’s success in teaching their students. This is the same for an artist. We must constantly adjust and grow to stay relevant and present. I hope that sharing my experiences and references will encourage and empower you in your own classrooms and art.
